Cardio Tennis
Cardio Tennis is a high-energy fitness activity that combines the best features of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie-burning aerobic workout.
Regardless of your ability or fitness level, you’ll get the ultimate workout.
How It Works:

Anyone can participate

Most classes have mixed ability

An STC instructor will feed you balls based on your ability and fitness level

Each session includes three phases
-
warm-up, cardio workout, and cool-down resulting in “Heart Pumping Fitness”

The Benefits:

It’s fun, you get fit and you improve your tennis skills

Participants consistently elevate their heart rates into their aerobic training zone

You can burn more calories than singles or doubles tennis

You get short cycles of high intensity workout and periods of rest, almost like interval training

While you are playing tennis, the focus is primarily on getting a great workout

24 participants (8 per court)

You may register at the Beach Clubhouse one week in advance

Time: Thursdays and Saturdays from 5 pm – 6 pm

Cost: $5/member per class; $15/non-members per class

Girls Cardio - New for 2024!!
New for the 2024 Summer Season is a "Girls only" Cardio Tennis Class for girls 11 - 15
Time: Mondays from 6 pm – 7 pm
Dates: July 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12
Location: Beach Courts
